Here is a Roku Remote GUI programmed with tkinter and Python:

The only catch is that you have to enable your Roku Server:

It runs on Python 2/3 and Windows/Linux (although it looks best on Linux).

Television was invented in 1927, but we didn't have a television station in my area until a year after I was born.
Suffice it to say that I was born in the first half of the last century.
