Python programmer needed to integrate GUI in Linux/LinuxCNC - blazini36 - Aug-18-2017

I'm looking for somebody that can help me integrate a GUI that was built in Glade with a program written in Python. I've built a machine basically consisting of a camera that moves on an axis driven by a stepper motor. LinuxCNC provides the basis for this project and bases the GUIs on GTK2 which is somewhat outdated. There is a basic program in place and some of the features work as is. I have a Glade file for the GUI that I'm happy with for the moment, I just need a V4L2 window integrated in the drawing area to display the camera. It there are buttons that need to interface v4l2 for camera control. There are also a few functions that need to be added to the Python code. Things along the lines of user stored positions of the camera axis and hitting a button to return to these stored positions. There is also some possible work with an XML and a HAL layer. I can explain a little more. There's likely some debugging and whatnot in the future but right now I'm just looking to get a suitable program running for field testing. More info if anyone is interested. This is obviously a paid gig.
